How to Choose the Right T-Shirt Size (Regular & Oversized)

A simple guide to picking the right T-shirt or hoodie size: how to measure, the difference between regular and oversized, and GOATS size charts in centimeters.

Choosing your T-shirt size

The question we get most on WhatsApp: “Which size should I get?” The truth is, a size isn't a fixed number — every cut has its own measurements. The good news: you can find your size in two minutes without trying anything on.

The easiest way: measure a T-shirt you already love

  1. Grab a T-shirt that fits you comfortably and lay it flat on a level surface.
  2. Width: measure from armpit to armpit (side to side).
  3. Length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder down to the bottom of the T-shirt.
  4. Compare both numbers with the size chart and pick the closest size.

Cotton shrinks 1–2 cm after the first wash, so if you're between two sizes, go for the bigger one.

Regular or oversized?

Regular has a classic cut that sits on the body without being tight. Oversized is wider with a slightly dropped shoulder — the streetwear style that's everywhere right now. If you want an extra-roomy oversized look, go one size up from your usual.
