How to Care for Your Printed T-shirt So It Lasts Longer
Washing and ironing tips for printed T-shirts and hoodies so the print stays as good as new: cold water, inside out, no tumble dryer, and ironing away from the print.

A good print lasts for years if you treat it right. The rules are simple:
Washing
- Turn the T-shirt inside out before washing so the print doesn't rub.
- Cold water or lukewarm, on a gentle cycle.
- Avoid bleach and harsh detergents.
- Wash dark colors together.
Drying
Hang it to air-dry, away from direct sunlight. No tumble dryer — high heat damages the print and shrinks the fabric.
Ironing
Iron it inside out, and never iron directly on the print. If you really have to, put a thin towel between the iron and the print.
Cotton shrinks a little
Cotton shrinks 1–2 cm after the first wash — that's normal, which is why we recommend going for the bigger size if you're between two sizes. Check out the size guide.
Caps and mugs
Wipe your cap with a damp cloth or hand-wash it in cold water, and don't wring it out. A printed mug is best washed by hand — and keep the magic mug in particular out of the dishwasher so the effect keeps working.
