Privacy policy

This policy explains what information GOATS (“we”) collects when you use goatseg.com, place an order, join a group order or book our live-printing stand, and how we use and protect it.

Information we collect

Order details: your name, phone number, governorate and delivery address, the products you order, and any notes. For a gift, the recipient’s name and (optionally) phone number.
Your designs: the images and text you upload or create in the design studio, so we can print them.
Payment details: for InstaPay / Vodafone Cash, the transfer screenshot, sender name/handle and reference. We do not receive or store full card numbers — card payments (when available) are processed by a licensed payment provider.
Group orders: the organiser’s name, phone number, delivery address and deadline; and for each member who joins, their name, phone number, size, the name or number to print and — if they pay by transfer — the transfer screenshot. The organiser can see the members’ names, sizes and payment status on the organiser page.
Events & live printing: booking requests (name, phone number and event details) and, at the stand, the name and phone number of each guest who orders. A guest’s first name can appear on the stand’s order screen so they know when their piece is ready.
Website usage: statistics from Google Analytics about the pages visited, the device used and how visitors arrived (for example from an ad), plus your design draft and cart, which stay in your own browser.

How we use it

To print, deliver and support your order, and to contact you about it (WhatsApp, phone or email).
To recognise returning customers by phone number and keep their GOAT Coins rewards.
To check payments and prevent fraud.
To understand which pages, products and campaigns work, with Google Analytics and — when we run ads — Google Ads conversion measurement.
Marketing messages only if you opt in: we send news about new drops and offers on WhatsApp only to people who chose to get them (for example by ticking an optional box that is never pre-ticked). You can stop them at any time by messaging us.

Sharing

We never sell your data. We share only what is needed: your name, phone and address with the courier that delivers your order, and payment information with the payment provider that processes it. Your designs are used only to make your order, unless you give us permission to show them.

These service providers help us run the store: Google (Sheets, Drive, Apps Script and email store and process orders and files; Google Analytics measures the website), WhatsApp (to talk with you about your order), and CallMeBot, a third-party WhatsApp notification service that sends our team instant alerts about new orders — these alerts carry only order-level details such as the order number, amount and payment method, not your name, phone number or address.

Storage, security & how long we keep it

Order records and files are stored in private Google Drive and Google Sheets storage that only the GOATS team can open, and the website is served over HTTPS. We keep order records as long as needed for the order, GOAT Coins and our accounting. Payment screenshots (also the transfers for group orders) are kept with the order record for our accounts. The print files and the photos you uploaded for printing are deleted 60 days after delivery. If you send us a “post & tag” photo, it is kept privately and shown on the website only if you ticked the consent box. Event bookings are kept in our private order sheet and calendar.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop marketing messages, by emailing goats.egy@gmail.com or messaging us on WhatsApp. Data needed for completed orders and legal accounting may be kept where required.

Cookies

We use your browser’s storage to keep your cart, language and design draft, and Google Analytics cookies (plus Google Ads cookies when we run ads) to measure the site. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
